Sweet sisters in handmade dresses!

This session featured two sisters for the younger sister’s 3rd birthday. I was especially excited about this session because the beautiful dress were handmade by their grandmother. I wish I could sew, I am so amazed by the talent showed in these two dresses.
One funny thing from our session, the girls were told if the session went well, they would have a trip to the Home Depot for new flowers. This made the girls very excited and I couldn’t help but smile! This is the first time I heard of a bribe to Home Depot!

This family doesn't slow down!

I had a exciting session with a family of three boys a few weeks ago (I am running behind on the blog!). I had to be quick to get these portraits but I really enjoyed getting to know them. I asked the mom if things were always fast in her family and she laughed and said “yes”. The best part about this family is the mom and dad just ran with them. We had a session of hide and seek and exploring the woods. It was great! The best part, one brother brought me flowers when I snapped the portrait above. Boys melt my heart!

Sweet Brothers!

This family has the most beautiful eyes! The youngest son is only 8 weeks old and steals my heart away! Big brother was full of energy and so much fun. I asked big brother to look in my lens and tell me what he saw and he commented, “it’s a spider-bug!”. I had no idea!
