Umm, Wow, is she gorgeous or what?!?

This was a great session. When we started, it looked like rain but we decided to try anyway. She needed portraits for auditioning and we were in a time crunch. We were having fun but kept looking up at the skies. Then we felt the first raindrop and finished up the set and decided to walk back….. when it started pouring rain. I think this was close to a monsoon. I kept saying how sorry I kept her in the rain but then she said, “no big deal. It is a nice memory”. And it hit me, it was a nice memory. We walked back to our cars (we were far out by this time) enjoying the cool rain of the humid afternoon. I tried to talk her into a picture as we left but I don’t think she wanted to share her soaking wet head with everyone. I think I will always smile when I see these portraits. What fun!
And so you know… my camera bag is waterproof! Well, at least it lasted enough to get to my car.

I know I have blog readers that are not on my mailing list, so I am sharing this with you here! Check out the specials! Our weddings are 1/2 off!! And the portrait session savings are unbeatable! Celebrate our new website with us! Tell me what you think!
Hello everyone! I am very pleased to announce the grand re-opening of the His Hands Photographs websites! That’s right, if you’ve been out to the website lately, you should have noticed some extremely dramatic changes. First of all, when you now go to http://www.hishandsphotographs.com, you’ll meet up with our new splash page that gives you the option to visit the greatly improved Portrait website along with an updated home-based Blog! No more Blogspot! Thank you Google, you’ve treated me well, but I like to keep it in the family and have decided to host my own blog.
But, wait! There’s one more option! You might have also seen a link to our new Wedding Photography website! My husband and I have enjoyed photographing weddings so much this past year that we’ve decided to venture out into the wonderful world of recording these beautiful and sacred events. While I love family and children portraiture with all of my heart and have no intention of even slowing my sessions down, Cory and I also love the honor of being a small part of one of the most precious times in a couple’s life.
To celebrate this wonderful news, we want to offer some unusually great…
Special Savings!
For portraits, there are three ways to save!
- Book a session before June 30th and receive an additional $25 credit towards purchasing prints from that session. That’s a total of $50 credit towards prints when you add that to the standard $25 credit already included in our session cost!
- Or, even better, if you book before May 31st, not only will you receive the additional $25 print credit from #1 above (making a total print credit of $50), we’ll also give you a 20% discount on your entire print order from that session!
- How about one more way to save? For each and every friend you forward this to who books a session, we’ll give you the choice between a free set of wallets to give to your friends and family, a free 8×10 desk portrait, or $10 off your next session fee! Just have them mention your name and then as soon as their session has been photographed you can claim your free gift(s)!
For weddings, we’re going to offer one major savings that can’t be passed up if you or someone you know is getting married. Check this out: if you book your wedding with us anytime from now until the end of 2008, we’ll give you a 50% discount on any of our wedding packages! Nope, I’m not kidding! You can save up to $2500 by booking us as your wedding photographers in 2008. Your wedding doesn’t have to actually occur in 2008, it just has to be booked before the end of 2008. Even if you’re not getting married, forward this to someone who is! I’m sure they’ll appreciate you for it!
I would love to hear your comments on the new website design!
Thank you all and have a blessed day!
Just a taste…

There have been several sessions lately for Father’s day so I am waiting until after the big day to share but this portrait I just HAD to share with you. I love his eyelashes. He is a month older than my son and such a cutie!
