They make me laugh out loud!

This family was a blast. I was trying to get some laughs out of them and told them to tell me a joke and someone commented, we aren’t joke people we just laugh at real stuff. Point well taken! After the warm up, the family would make faces behind my back and poke fun at each other. I love this! This session was on the books for months and even had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to rain but I was so happy to finally meet everyone. They all had spent the weekend at City Stages having a great time but they weren’t tired either. How do I get their energy?
A surprise for Dad!

This is one of the sessions from before Father’s day. Mom wanted to surprise Dad with portraits for his office. This is an extra special session for me because this is my neighbor! I was so excited when we set up a session. Cory and I moved into our house and met her husband when we first moved in but we never had the chance to met her. When I was pregnant with Elijah I noticed my neighbor looked pregnant also. Well, we were both pregnant and both due within days of each other. We both had sweet little boys! What a blessing to have a built in playmate and someone to call to ask all the million questions of being a new mom…. “Is he doing this yet?” haha.
I love this family!

I love all my families and this family was no exception! Mom told me of Iron Chef cook offs between the older siblings and the baby is in love with tractors (just like my Elijah!). This session was a gift for Dad for Father’s day and that makes me smile! I heard from mom that the kiddos talked mom into giving Dad his gift early because they were so excited. I am so glad I could be a part of honoring their Dad.
