She stole the show – Birmingham Maternity and Family Photographer

We scheduled this session for the sweet little boy that is in his mommy’s belly but big sister stole the show. She was so full of lovely energy and is SO adorable. Don’t you love the colors everyone is wearing? And her pig tails… she looks so big girl! Mom took advantage of our FREE maternity session with every booked newborn session so look for the newborn baby pictures in the coming months. As I was taking some pictures of mom and dad together, mom said “Isn’t this nice?”. I love to get a few shots of mom and dad as a couple. After all, that is how it all started! I love too that I was able to focus on big sister a little more in this session too. This is her last portrait session where she is the only child. How exciting the next few months will be for her and mom and dad!

From the blog lately, you would think we are only shooting adults but we are busy busy with little kiddos and family. I wanted show you some from this little guys 6 month session (look for more in the coming months, he is on our baby plan!). We met at his Grandmother’s beautiful house. We waited a few weeks until her was sitting up and I am so glad we did. I bet it won’t be long before this guy is walking! I love the coats at the end. It looks so classic!

I can not believe I haven’t blogged this wedding with you yet! The is our New Year’s Eve wedding at the Tutwiler. Since we started photographing a wedding, it has been a secret dream of mine to photograph a wedding at the famous hotel. A million years ago I had my senior prom at the Tutwiler and I have been in love every since. It is such a romantic place…. right in the heart of downtown, old classic elegance, high style decorations… LOVE IT! We scheduled in extra time for fabulous pictures and wow. wow. wow….. did I saw wow??? I really love that this is my job to hang out with awesome couple like this one and meet incredible families like this family! The night was filled with laughter and all the details were perfect. I think the New Year’s Eve weddings will hold a special place in my heart because you always remember what you are doing on New Years Eve!
