Pumpkins! – Birmingham Alabama Child Portrait Photographer

I am so in love with the colors here! Mom loves pumpkin and we wanted as many fall colors as possible. I love the background colors, just everything about this sneak peek. The girls have such sweet smiles that I had a hard time picking favorites to share! Happy Fall, it is official!

Small world! – Birmingham Alabama Family Portrait Photographer

I met this family through another friend when my friend sent out Christmas cards with a picture I took last year. This family liked her friend’s card and decided to have us take a picture for her cards this year. Did you follow that? During our session, we figured out several people we knew in common. I constantly amazed at how small this world is! One family we mutually knew was totally unrelated to the other friend… it is a crazy small world!

These boys were so sweet and polite. I am in awe at the great families I meet every week. The first picture makes me laugh out loud. They were goofing off when I snapped this picture. It is so funny! I assure you I have lots of pictures of them looking sweet… but I have to say my favorite is this one…

Such a joy! – Shelby County Alabama Family Portrait Photographer

I met this mom on a national message board years ago when I figured out we were from the same area. We never met in person but we would email each other from time to time. Fast forward to me starting our photography business and she decided to trust me with her Christmas portraits. They are one of the first families I photographed that I didn’t really know. She booked me because she liked my work not because I she knew me and was letting me “practice” on her kids. I still remember being so nervous for our first session. I was so new at photography and I didn’t want to mess up one of my first “real” shoots. And here we are YEARS later and I am blessed to say this family has come back every year. It is such a joy to see the kids every year and see how much they have grown! I have to say this is my favorite session yet (but the beach session is a close second!!). We met at her parents new home overlooking a beautiful lake. Love the light in so many of the portraits… the entire session makes my heart smile!

Thank you for trusting me so many years to document your family. I am blessed beyond measure to be a part of your family’s life!
