I met this couple when the bride was a maid of honor at a wedding a couple of years ago. I knew we were going to laugh the entire session! The bride and groom are so laid back and funny… I have SOOO many pictures of the both of them goofing off. I love it!! I am looking forward to the wedding in June. I have a feeling we are going to laugh ALL day long! You can tell they love each other and are sure to not take each other too seriously!

There are so many things I could say. I am so happy to be right where I am. I think about all the thanksgivings I have had in my life and I can’t think of a time where I have been more content to be where God has me. I have the most incredible husband, my children that I always dreamed of, friends that I can count on, family that is mine, and a business that makes me smile while I am blessed to make others happy. I think this year more than any year I am grateful for where I am because I know that nothing in life is guaranteed. I have known so many people that have suffered loss this year. So today, I can’t help but think of those who are missing someone and pray for them while holding my family tight. I am thinking of my “new” family in California… missing every one of them and wishing that the Pacific ocean wasn’t so far away.

We had a wonderful day with family and friends gathered in my home where we celebrated the gifts God has provided for us and I am so content. We had way too much food, good food. My kids ran and ran and ran…. enjoying having a full house. We all ate too much and somehow Elijah worked out 3 desserts from different people?!? Cory and I are back to work to finish up the holiday rush! We aren’t sleeping much around here but we are having a blast!! I love this time of year! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Firestation Session – Tuscaloosa Child Portraits and Photography

I had an idea for a portrait session at a fire station a few months ago. I thought the fire truck would make the perfect background. I knew one of my favorite blue eyed boys was turning one soon and his dad is a firefighter. Mom loved my idea! I LOVE the results even more than I thought I would! My favorite thing about this session is this is where Dad is working and these will be extra special as he gets older. And for the record… I have not “played” up his eyes in photoshop. These are his natural amazing blue eyes!
