My favorite place in the world – Orange Beach Alabama Photographer

I am ready for a weekend of beach portraits. With everything that is going on in our city, I felt quite guilty for leaving for a “work-cation” but plans had been made and sessions scheduled for two months… I am very grateful to be in my favorite place in the world. I want to share more soon about my thoughts on the storm but for now, I will just share my sweet babies with you.

I don’t always take my camera to the beach with my kids. They are BUSY! They throw a lot of sand and there are times that I don’t want to mess with my big camera.  But, today was different because I wanted to remember our sunset trip to the beach. The Ferguson family had been talking about the beach for months!  Our trip to the beach was no different from any other trip except my Sarah seems lightyears older than last time. She talked the entire trip about “diggin’ in da sand” and “going to da beach”… not like a baby, but like a big girl. I would ask her what she wanted for lunch and she would say, “Beach!”  Or, “Do you want chocolate?”  ”No, Beach!!!” After arriving at the beach, getting settled in our place, going to the grocery store, and finding dinner…. it was time. I don’t want to forget little moments like this. I wish I could bottle their excitement. I want to forever remember their sweet faces while digging in the sand, running in the water, and just being 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. I am blessed beyond measure.
