Baby girl coming soon! – Birmingham Alabama Maternity Portraits
Posted on June 9, 2011
It was such a joy to meet this mom and dad! We met on a very hot morning at the gardens. (I know, it is HOT it is ALABAMA and it is always hot… but big surprise…. it was hot). You wouldn’t know it was hot because mom looked so fabulous and made my job easy. We spent our sessions talking about the little girl that is due this summer. It is so wonderful to hear about how an entire family is so excited when a baby is on the way. Just from our time at our session, I can tell mom and dad are going to be the best parents!

Nice to meet little sister! – Birmingham Family and Child Photographer

A little over two years I met big sister for her one (ish) year portrait. I remember big sister was such a joy and her smile made me smile even more. Now, fast forward two years and I am blessed to meet little sister for the same one (ish) year portraits in the same dress as big sister. I LOVE passing down clothing for portraits. Years from now the two sisters will look at the pictures and love that they are both wearing the same dress. We picked a few of the same places for the portraits too and then we headed out to explore more of the gardens. The girls are both sweethearts and so much fun to get to know.
I am so blessed to meet the families I meet. And even MORE blessed when a family comes back and I get to see how much they have grown and changed!

Every detail amazing – Birmingham Wedding Photographer

I met this couple from two years ago when the bride was maid of honor at her friend’s wedding.
It was so great to hear from her again when she started planning her wedding.
This couple I have to say are two of the funniest people I have ever met. They are also so sincere and easy to work with. The friends and family were the same way. We had a blast laughing with everyone and celebrating them as a couple. The day was absolutely perfect. I know I say that a lot but every thing just fell into place.
I LOVE the belt on her dress. Just amazing. And her veil… wow, just perfect for the bride.

The flowers were from Hot House Designs Studio and SO SO AWESOME! I was so excited to see her work after watching her blog for a while. The colors were amazing, the combination of flowers, just perfect!!

I took a few minutes with her mom and sister before the first look to take a few pictures before she met her groom. I love how they all favor each other. Beautiful women!

I love this one from their first look. The first thing the groom did was to make her laugh. It was such a nice moment!

We split our pictures between the church and the reception location. (Vestavia Hills Country Club did a fabulous job the entire day!!)

The ceremony was thoughtful and beautiful. My favorite is dad looking at his daughter as she walked down the isle. So very classic.

And then the wedding guest met at the reception for fabulous food, Feel the Beat Entertainment kept the party going. I have to say the kids might have stolen the show a few times!
