Perfect Summer Wedding Day – Annabella at Cedar Glenn Huntsville Alabama

If you live in Alabama and you plan your wedding in the middle of July, you know without a doubt it is going to be hot or rainy. I talked to this bride several ways we would work around the heat if it was unbearable…. you know. We had a game plan. The the oddest thing happened… it was overcast and barely humid. Absolutely perfect weather for a summer wedding!! No rain, and it actually felt nice outside for the entire day. Annabella at Cedar Glenn took care of every detail! They were great the entire day and some of the nicest people I have ever met!

This lovely couple has known each other since high school (correct me if I am wrong, it may be middle school!). They are just made for each other! Every detail was perfect, thoughtful, beautiful. Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Spent time with sweet girl this morning for her 1 year old portraits! We ended our session with a smash cake and I have to say this was my favorite smash cake so far! So much fun! Baby girl vs. Cake…. you tell me who won??

Every time we host a contest I can not pick a winner. Seriously, everyone is so kind and I love hearing all the great memories. I laughed and cried! Since there is no way to pick through the entries and pick a favorite we picked one at random. It was highly scientific, we wrote down every name on a slip of paper and drew them out of a hat. I promise once I figure out how to clone myself…. everyone gets a free session fee! deal???

For Elijah’s birthday, he finally turned 5. A whole hand. He has been waiting a while to say that!

My heart overflows with love for my sweet boy!

We are having an official party for both of the kids next week, but for his birthday we met a couple of our friends at Chuckee Cheese to waste (I mean, stimulate the economy) our money. The kids has a BLAST. Elijah earned 61 tickets… a record for him. He brought home a bear tattoo, two sweetheart tarts, and a glow in the roach. Successful, right?
