You know boys are different than girls! They are rough and fast and do not sit still for a minute! It is great! I didn’t know anything about boys until I had my son and now I worry about how to handle a girl when my daughter arrives. This session was ALL boy! These brothers are two years apart and I bet it never slows down. Mom told me about their birthday parties coming up in August where she is turning her backyard into a pirate ship! You could never do that with girls!

After we did the family session mom wanted to have some pictures with water and did we ever! She was fine with them getting wet and it was HOT (July in Alabama, big surprise!). Once their feet hit the water, water flew everywhere! They had the best time and were soaked from head to toe! I had a great time just watching them. Boys are great!

We had to reschedule this session 4 times for different reasons! I was so happy to finally meet these three sisters. They were willing to have some fun and I bet there is always laughter in this house. One neat thing about this family; mom and dad recently surprised them with a trip to Disney world! They must be some of the coolest parents ever. Mom told me of waking the girls up the morning they were to leave and asking them if they wanted to go to Disney that day. Of course they said yes, but I don’t think the girl believed them. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to capture the looks on the faces when they realized they were leaving in a few hours!

We just came in from vacation and I am playing catch up today! I have a few sessions to share from a few weeks ago and I promise to get one up this week. Plus, we did maternity pictures on the beach. PLUS, we set up the tripod and set the timer and took a picture of my entire family! We have very few pictures of all of us and I can’t wait to share!!

I volunteered at a baby shower for 9 women that had attended a birth class for two months. It was given by two Sunday school classes at Briarwood Church. I am amazed at how much was done at this shower. There was so much heart given to these women and these sweet babies-to-be (and one baby came early!). I love all the baby bellies!! I am due around the same time as these women so we had lots to talk about!

I have been looking forward to sharing this family with my blog readers but I forgot to have mom sign the model release so I had to hold back. But now I can finally share these sweet brothers and sister with you! The was a very fast session. I have a feeling things do not slow down much in this household. The best part for me was to hear all they knew about nature. The boys told me of tomato plants growing in thier backyard and many other plants (I am jealous!). And both boys knew about different types of moss and bugs (I really had no idea!). My favorite portraits from the session are the portraits with each of them exploring nature. I can just see this happening on a regular basis with this family! And the little princess? She was as laid back as you can be. I guess she doesn’t have a choice with two big brothers! One more little thing to add; I have never seen two parents work harder to get the perfect portraits! Thank you for allowing me to get to know your babies!
