What do you do when the groom brings the baddest light sabers as a prop to the after session? You shoot it!
How would you caption these photos?

Have you noticed I have been posting more on the blog in 2009? I didn’t want to announce this on the blog until I knew I could stick to it but I have started a project called the 365 Project. That means I have to post a picture to my blog every day. You might think what is the big deal but in the last 28 days I have found myself taking more pictures, leaving the camera out and stretching myself to see things differently! So… here it is… I am making it offical! It is my goal to post a picture to the blog every day for 2009. I hope to share more stories with you, more families that I am blessed to know, more funny blooper pictures, and more stuff we just think is neat. So will you support me? Will you check on me and keep me on my toes? It is going to be an exciting year!
And here are the pictures of the day… this is my sweet boy with two of his favorite things: tractors and dirt. We were visiting my mom and she has lots of dirt for him to roll his tractors! (Honestly, these were my mom’s tractors that she has owned for years as part of a happy meal toy set but Elijah just couldn’t part with them. What is an Oma to do but to give them to him???)

Because I KNOW you love to see more of my kids…. I will share with you a few from today. We needed to go to Tuscaloosa to see the venues for two weddings we have coming up and along the way we found a park. The weather was too nice to pass the park without playing! Here are a few from our day!
This was Sarah’s first official park visit…

Elijah hammin’ it up on the swings…

I love this picture. Look how Sarah is looking on, wondering when she can join in!

Ok, this is my son daring the laws of gravity. I saw him start up this “ladder” and I started YELLING “no” by the time I got there he was half way up and Cory said to let him try. The mommy in me was freaking out… I mean he is TWO. But he did it, and didn’t even look scared. When he got to the top he said “Whoa”. Whoa is right!

And just so you see that I am not a paranoid mom, this is the view from the top of the ladder my son had no trouble with…. I still can’t beleive he did it and then he did it over and over again!

And a little slide action….
