Just because this blog has been mostly adults I need to show you we have just as many babies and children around here lately. Be on the lookout for this little one’s big sister in the next week or so before they move to another city. I was so happy to hear mom call me to tell me they were expecting a few months ago. I did big sister’s pictures last year and I was excited to meet another sweet girl!! This nursery pictures are extra special because this was the nursery she was brought home in but in just a few weeks, they will have a new home! They will always be able to show her the nursery that they decorate just for her while she was in momma’s belly.

This picture from the session is special to me. I was trying to get the perfect smile from her that showed her beautiful eyes. She kept giving me the “cheese” smile and her eyes would close. We were sitting by the creek and I asked mom to step back a little so I could talk to her. So we are sitting by each other and talking. All the while I am trying to get the perfect expression from her. I asked her if she has a song we could sing together and she immediately starts singing the ABC song. I wish I had a video recorder to capture her voice. It was such a sweet sound. She didn’t look at me while she sang but just looked down playing with the flower in her hand singing so lovely. So, this picture makes me smile and hear her voice all over again. I love my job. My job is to meet incredible children like this one. Maybe she will be a singer one day?

The weather felt like early spring! I hear we have COLD weather in the forecast the next few days so I was very happy to hear we would have one beautiful day to have some fun with this family. We met at a park in Helena and enjoyed the fresh air. The big kids were so sweet and little brother is just ready to go and explore the park! Here are a few of my favorites from the day to show Mom and Dad some of our fun! (Do you see how great they are dressed!!?? I love the blues! So perfect!)

I started compiling a year in review for a slideshow to share with everyone a month ago. A month later and I still haven’t added all the families and brides from the year! What an amazing year it has been! I look at all these families and I can’t help but tear up thinking of all the wonderful people I have met this year. If I missed you in the slideshow please forgive me! If I keep working on this slideshow, I will never get it up on the blog.

Every single picture on here means something to me and that is why I want to share it with you. I am once again humbled that this is our job and we are a part of all of the lives here even if for a short time. Thank you for allowing us to live our dream…..I can’t even imagine what exciting things 2009 will bring. I trust that God has big plans and I just let Him drive. And now….. sit back and press play!
