Baby girl coming soon! – Birmingham Alabama Maternity Portraits

It was such a joy to meet this mom and dad! We met on a very hot morning at the gardens. (I know, it is HOT it is ALABAMA and it is always hot… but big surprise…. it was hot). You wouldn’t know it was hot because mom looked so fabulous and made my job easy. We spent our sessions talking about the little girl that is due this summer. It is so wonderful to hear about how an entire family is so excited when a baby is on the way. Just from our time at our session, I can tell mom and dad are going to be the best parents!

Three will soon become four! – Birmingham Maternity Photographer

I met this family about a year after I started my business. I still felt like I was getting my feet wet and they were one of the few people that I didn’t know at all before the session. Sweet girl was only 3 months back then, it is so hard to believe she is 3 years old and is about to be a big sister. This is our first session where she was talking to me in full sentences and she totally won be over. I heard her say my name and I stopped to hear it again. What a precious girl! And mom, she totally rocks being pregnant, right? They are the most photogenic family! I can’t wait to meet little brother soon!

Baby Bellies Abound!! – Birmingham Maternity Photographer

It seems like I go in cycles with maternity portraits. I won’t have a maternity session for a while then I will have several all in a row. Now is the time for lots of maternity sessions!! I love maternity sessions where the baby is going to be joining brother and sisters. Why? Because it gives me a chance to work with big brother and sister before the newborn session and I just love pictures of brother and sister hugging the sweet baby bump…. add that with a beautiful radiant momma… wow… I love my job!! Here are some highlights from my recent maternity sessions, be on the look out for the newborn sessions very soon!
