A bride and her ballerinas – Northport Alabama Wedding and Child Photographer

Posted on September 1, 2011

If you have followed our blog for a while, then you know the ballerinas from this session! I have been blessed to photograph the three beautiful sisters since baby girl was a newborn. I remember our first session, middle sister didn’t want anything to do with me. ha! She finally came around for that session but what a different two years makes!! This time she was smiling and laughing and POSING. They are all three so beautiful and such sweethearts. At the end of every session with them, I have laughed so many times at the cute, very different personalities! When their grandmother booked this session, she told me she wanted pictures of her God daughter with her grandchildren. Is that an amazing full circle moment?

And the bride…. let’s just say my job was EASY! She is laid back and gorgeous…. and her sense of style is AMAZING! Don’t you love the layer of pink in her dress? And the pink shoes? Love subtle additions of color!!

Happily Ever After – Birmingham Alabama Wedding Photographer

A couple of years ago I met the bride to be when I also met her family for a portrait session (See her family below!). It was so exciting to hear of her engagement and met her fiance. Another July wedding here, and it was hot. We made it work by taking lots of breaks. :) The heat didn’t take away from the elegant day. You can see the bride’s great sense on style in everything she chose. Check out her belt!!! Amazing!! And her pink shoes… such a romantic touch!

They both had gifts for each other during the first look. It is such a great idea! He gave her a little wooden box filled with something really nice. As you can see, she loved it. :)

Perfect Summer Wedding Day – Annabella at Cedar Glenn Huntsville Alabama

Posted on August 31, 2011

If you live in Alabama and you plan your wedding in the middle of July, you know without a doubt it is going to be hot or rainy. I talked to this bride several ways we would work around the heat if it was unbearable…. you know. We had a game plan. The the oddest thing happened… it was overcast and barely humid. Absolutely perfect weather for a summer wedding!! No rain, and it actually felt nice outside for the entire day. Annabella at Cedar Glenn took care of every detail! They were great the entire day and some of the nicest people I have ever met!

This lovely couple has known each other since high school (correct me if I am wrong, it may be middle school!). They are just made for each other! Every detail was perfect, thoughtful, beautiful. Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Do you like this style of blog post? Tell me about it??? I love that I share more of the story of the day!! :)
